Faisalabad or previously known as Lyallpur is often called the Manchester of Pakistan. It is a big industrial city(2nd in Punjab). Layallpur Golf Club is regarded as one of the trickiest golf course in Pakistan. Primarily due to the fact that it is a small 9-hole course with Birdie opportunity almost on every hole for long hitters, but on the other hand with out of bounds almost right next to fairways makes it a very difficult course to score upon if you are missing the fairways. Greens are perhaps the quickest in Pakistan. It is very well maintained and equipped course 20 minutes drive from the Air Port. It lies in the center of the city on Stadium road right next to Iqbal Stadium.
Sargodha famous for its Orange farms and is widely recognized as one of the best citrus producing area in Pakistan and all over the world. Sargodha lies in the North East of Pakistan. It is 1 and a half hour drive from Faisalabad Airport and 4 hours road journey from the capital Islamabad. Ibex Golf Club Sargodha is a 9- Hole course build on modern day standards with narrow fairways and quick greens. Position plays is of key importance in this course and if you don’t position your shots smartly soon you will be facing bogey or worse in the eye. It regularly holds amateur and professional matches.. It is situated in side cantonment, a very serene area where accommodation and food will not be hard to find.
Dera Ismail Khan is situated in the province Khyber Pukhtunkhua. It is often abbreviated as D I Khan. D I Khan golf club is 10 minute drive from D I Khan Airport although the Air Port is currently closed but hopefully will be resumed soon. D I khan golf is an emerging golf club from Pakistan. Currently a 9-Hole course is open for the visitors with modern day facilities and club instructor is very happy to teach Beginners. Traditional food can be found throughout the city.
